Happy customers don't leave reviews. Asking them does.
Ayrword texts your customers a link to your Google review page, from your own business name. Add them, pick your wording, send. Then see who opened it.
No contract. Cancel any time.

Hi Ann, thanks for using Demo Plumbing. Could you leave a quick Google review? https://ayrword.com/r/AbCdEfGhJk Opt out: https://ayrword.com/s/Ab3dE9xQ2k
An example of what your customer sees
People pick who to call by their reviews. Most happy customers never write one, because nobody asked.

- Firth Heating & Gas4.7(64)Plumber
- Demo Plumbing4.8(9)Plumber, this is your business
Asking takes three steps.
1. Add your customers
Add the people you've done work for, one by one or pasted from a spreadsheet.

Easy on you. Easy on your customers.
Ask while you’re on the job.
Mention you'll text a review link when you finish. Add them to Ayrword and you're done.
Opting out works.
Every text carries a personal opt-out link. Anyone who uses it is never texted again by Ayrword.
No nagging.
Nobody is asked twice within 30 days, even if you press send twice. The one exception is a single gentle reminder, which you choose to switch on.
See what works.
Ayrword shows who opened the link, tracks your Google rating and new reviews, and emails you a short summary every Monday.
Real reviews only.
We never write, buy or filter reviews, and we don't help you ask only the happy ones.
No contract.
Cancel any time by email and it stops that day. You also reach the person who built it.
One plan. Thirty days free.
£39
a month, per business
Up to 200 requests a month, which is about 20p for each customer you ask.
- Texts sent from your own business name, not a random mobile number
- Your own customer list and wording
- A record of every request, and who opened the link
- Your Google rating and new reviews, with a weekly email
- No contract, cancel any time by email
A long message counts as more than one text, and Ayrword tells you before you send.
Questions
Do I need to ask customers first?
Just mention it while you're on the job: “I'll text you a quick link to review us.” Then add them to Ayrword and tick the box to say you've told them. Every text has a link to opt out, and anyone who uses it is never texted again. This isn't legal advice, so check the ICO's guidance if you're unsure.
Who does the text come from?
From your own business name, like “CatPlumbers”, so customers see a name they know instead of an unknown mobile number. A sender name can be up to 11 letters and numbers with no spaces, so we set yours up for you. If a name can't be used, the text comes from “Ayrword” instead, and your business is still named in the message.
Can customers reply to the text?
No. A text from a name like “CatPlumbers” can't receive replies, which is why every message has an opt-out link instead. Customers who want to talk to you will contact you directly.
Can I ask only my happy customers?
Please don't. Asking only the people you expect to be positive is called review gating, and Google's rules say not to do it. Ayrword is built to ask everyone you choose.
Where do I find my Google review link?
In your Google Business Profile, choose "Ask for reviews" and copy the link. Ayrword only accepts Google review links.
Can I bring my customer list with me?
Yes. Paste it from a spreadsheet or upload a CSV file. Or add customers one at a time from your phone as you finish each job.
How will I know if it is working?
Ayrword shows how many people you asked, how many opened the link, and how many new Google reviews and what rating you've gained since. Google doesn't say who left a review, so treat the numbers as a guide.
Is there more than review texts?
Not yet. Right now Ayrword does one job well: asking for reviews, with an optional reminder, link tracking and a weekly summary. Replying to customers and a chat box for your website may come later.
Who is behind Ayrword?
A one-person business based in North Ayrshire.
What does it cost to cancel?
Nothing. Email us and it stops the same day.
Ask your next ten customers for a review.
